I'd like to invite everyone to the 7thannual Pete Schwab Memorial men's fastpitch softball tournament. Thetournament will be held, July 11-13th, in Frankenmuth's Heritage Park.
As in years past, the tournament will beorganized into a 4-game round robin tournament with the top 6 teams competingin a single-elimination playoff. A total of 16 teams are expected. Lastyear, Priority Mortgage (Grand Rapids, MI) defeated Blenheim Homerun Restaurant (Blenheim, ON) for thechampionship, with the Michigan Twisters (RoscommonMI) and the Alvinston Indians (Alvinston, ONlosing in the semifinals.
The tournament entry fee is $350. Thetournament will be structured around ISC II, NAFA A Major, AA, and AA Major typeteams. Teams with pitchers on the ISC II pitcher's ineligible list willnot be allowed unless written approval is given by the tournament committeeprior to the entry deadline of June 20th.
