For all those teams looking to fill out their tournament schedule for 2008 please consider the annual Niagara Falls Men's League tournament in Niagara Falls Canada, August 8-10, 2008. Last year the Waterdown Hammer won the A division defeating Dunkirk Fastpitch in the finals. The Hammer defeated Niagara Fury and Dunkirk defeated Toronto Celtics to reach the finals. As well Cool Hand Lukes won the B division while the C and D divisions were rained out and the teams in those finals split the money. This tournament has attracted intermediate and recreational teams from all over Ontario and the US for many years. Those teams can attest to the great atmosphere and history of the tournament. We historically have 18 teams playing on four diamonds at Ker Park. We normally advance 16 teams to Sunday so most teams will be playing at least 4 games on the weekend. The tournament hosts a beer tent and there is great food, concessions and a sporting good supplier set up. The tournament is always very well attended and attracts many local fans to the Park. Preferential hotel and restaurant information will be provided. The date this year is August 8-10 and we normally pay $2,500 in prize money to the various winners of our four divisions.
