Please see attached final schedule for the 2008 Boulevard Lounge tournament in Midland for June 13-15.  No major changes from original, just moved some games around to give best matchups and timing for everyone.

 

Did my best to avoid 4 games on Saturday for everyone, but Jarvis and Thomson have that possibility.

 

1st game start times for each team:

 

* Explorers/HBC Lightning:  Friday 7:30 p.m.

* Scarborough/Owen Sound:  Friday 8:30 p.m. (this game does not have a game prior on their field - if both teams can make it earlier, please let me know)

* Kitchener/Ashland:  Friday 9:00 p.m. (this game does not have a game prior on their field - if both teams can make it earlier, please let me know)

* Twisters/Priority:  Friday 9:30 p.m.  (or 20 minutes after completion of 7:30 game)

* Current/Knights:  Saturday 8:00 a.m.

* Thomson/Jarvis:  Saturday 8:00 a.m.

* Kelders/Duncan:  Saturday 8:00 a.m.

I'm happy to announce that Paul Barnetson (Orillia, ON) will be coming in for the weekend to be our tournament director.  Paul ran the Orillia tournament from 1998 through 2007 - the Explorers are very pleased to have him on board for the weekend.  Once the tournament begins, Paul will be the go-to guy in terms of start times, game balls, collecting scoresheets, answering questions, seeding teams, updating the standings, and anything else directly related to gameplay and the tournament.

 

Also, Ontario's own Al Doran - a 2008 ISC Hall of Fame inductee - will be at the park covering the games and tournament in his own inimitable manner.  We're happy to have Al on as part of our event as well.
