10th ANNUAL TOM MADL BOB WALSH MEMORIAL CLASSIC ANNOUNCES 2009 TOURNAMENT DATE
Allentown, PA - The 10th Annual Tom Madl Bob Walsh Memorial Classic dates have been confirmed.
This major men's fastpitch softball tornament will be held in Allentown, PA on August 7-9, 2009. Since the
ISF World Championships will be held in Sakatoon, SK during the traditional 3rd weekend in July, the new dates reflect
the weekend between the ASA Major Men's and ISC World Championship Weekends. Patsy's (the defending
2008 MWMC champion) and the Kitchener Rivershark Twins (2008 ISC World Champion & MWMC runner-up) along with
The Farm Tavern, Broken Bow Gremlins, Scarborough, St. Thomas and Keating's Fitness competed in 2008.
(Selection of the new date will also benefit the major teams as less expenses will be needed over a shorter time period)
