Game 4 - EVI
Australia vs. Venezuela

its now 1:15pm and almost ready to go, not sure what the delay is

1:28pm and player introductions are now being done. Maybe its me but these two sets of uniforms are very very similar! Oh well, Venezuela has the darker pants.

Fantastic afternoon in this great park. More fans here for this game.

B6
Folkard is really slamming the ball in there today. I am a few feet from the catcher and the sound is amazing.
1st batter called out and not happy at all. Not sure if Frank Omoe speaks Spanish.
last batter pops up and ss gets it.
no runs, no hits, no errors, no LOB
3:10pm

I see Mexicans over at the ISF table on the other side of the score keepers booth from me. That is a good sign, we may have a game vs Japan coming up.
and yes, we are running a bit late.

T7
Manager Bob Harrow does a pretty good imitation of Rod Peterson in his walk to 3b
Cockman is the first batter, walks
Wells, out
Downes, slams a grounder to lf, and is safe on 1st, runnrs on 1 and 2
Mike Tanner, slams a double to deep cf, scores two runs.
Mike Harrow, pops to rf and is safe, for a single, and scores Downes.
Zenon Winters, out
Davison, nice one just over the head of 2b for a single but brings in two runners
Gooagong, called third strike to retire the side.
4 runs, 4 hits, no errors, 1 LOB
3:28pm

no score yet from the other diamond

but yes, I do have the best seat in the house!

B7
two out real quick
3rd batter goes down swinging
oppps, the game is not over, wrong count, everyone go back to where you were
and he singles with a full count, the Venezuela bench is extatic
third srike, runs to first, no throw, did they really tag the runner at 3B, have to have a meeting, almost like the blue are argueing.
players are all lined up except the batter and the blue are in a very long huddle, still
and still, the batte is standing there, wants to go to 1b, AU is lined up, want to go to the beer tent.
well its finally over, somone explain to the batter, well he is first to shake AU hands
Frank Omoe says it was related to an illegal pitch
Folkard had a perfect game going.
3:42pm  - yes we are now more than a little late for the 3pm game
