and all Open level Teams and 40 and Over Teams to our 14th Annual
Men's Fastball Tournament. Memorial Weekend has been a tradition in
Texas for over 40 years dating back to the Original Jokers and then
Hosted by the Austin Braves , Austin Angels , Austin Athletics and
then back to the Jokers . I myself was given the privilege of
hosting this Tournament 14 years ago and I truly cherish this Great
event. The weekend is filled with Not yet the hottest of Texas heat,
cooler weather sometimes a little rain (bite my tongue) and lots of
shade. A Great Concession Stand, your normal ballpark food along with
a little Tex - Mex flavor, the tacos and the hot sauce will keep you
coming back. Great Fastball fans who really know and love the game.
Good competition, teams from Austin, Baytown, Denton, Houston, Manor,
San Antonio, Mexico and possibly Oklahoma. A Great host committee and
an even Greater Tournament Director. Good Old Time Men’s Fastball at
it’s finest, as we say in Texas ya’ll come on down and we’ll show you
a good time.
