Icebreaker and Hog results

New Image defeated Aurora 7-5 in the championship of the DeKalb Hogs Icebreaker ISC Qualifier Sunday. Jeramie Holman was named Most Outstanding Pitcher of the tournament. Other awards to follow later this week. Aurora gets the ISC berth as New Image turned down the 2010 berth.

New Image defeated the Hogs 8-0 in one semifinal and Aurora defeated the Cortland Razorbacks 3-0 in the other semifinal.

Ordre of finish:

1st. New Image 5-0

2nd. Aurora 4-1

3rd. Hogs 2-2 (higher finish w/ tiebreaker)

4th Razorbacks 2-2 (Higher finish than Yorkville with tiebreaker)

5th Yorkville 2-2

6th Rockford BHAC Pride

7th Pete's Blues 1-3

8th DeKalb County Fastpitch 0-4

The Hogs went 2-2 in the tournament. Tom Crouch (8x14) and Scott Beal (4x12) were named to the All Tournament team from the Hogs.The Hogs are next in action on the 10th in Rockford in the newly formed wood-bat league.
