The NAFA Wood Bat World Series will be held over Labor Day weekend Sept. 4^th and 5^th at beautiful Thunder Park in Roscoe, IL.    This will be the first time the Wood Bat World Series will be held in the Midwest.   This will be a NAFA 3 game guarantee format and the tournament will be held on Saturday and Sunday with Monday Sept. 6^th as the rain date. 

 

Deadline for entry fees: August 21^st.   Roster forms and Entry forms can be downloaded from the NAFA website at: http://www.playnafa.org/

 

Cost: 325 dollars (Make Checks Payable to Rockford Metro Sports).

 

Awards: Trophies will be provided for top three finishing teams, with individual awards provided for the Top Hitter, Top Pitcher, and Most Valuable Player. Fifteen All Tournament Awards will be provided to outstanding players for the weekend.

 

Pitching Restrictions: Any pitcher on the NAFA Open list is not allowed. Pitchers on the NAFA AAA list will need to petition to the NAFA Wood Bat Tournament Directors for approval. All pitchers classified below NAFA AAA are eligible to pitch in this tournament.
