 Kyle Crawford pitched the Indians to a 7 -1 win in the Deciding game 5 Thursday Night Ryan Chapman was 2/3 with a HR while Jeff Lyons was also 3/3 . The Indians will now play St Thomas in the Finals a best of 5 with Game 1 Tuesday in Fingal 8 PM  with Game 2 Thursday In Alvinston

Indians win 4 2 Lead series 2 -1

 Ryan Chapman drove in 3 runs including a 2 run Hr and Kyle Crawford picked up the win On the Mound , Game 4 is Tuesday In Fingal 8 PM

 

 

Game 2

Alvinston evens series with 6-2 victory over Shedden

The Alvinston Indians travelled to Fingal Tuesday night for Game 2 of the best of 5 series against the Shedden Force.  The pitching matchup was Ben Hodgins for the Indians and Nic Goetz for the Force.

Alvinston would strike early taking a 2-0 lead in the top of the 1st on a 2 run homerun by Jeff Lyons, scoring Jamie Shields. 

The bats were silenced until the 4th when Gary Cooke led off the inning with a walk.  After being sacrificed to 2nd on a bunt by Rob Burns, he would score on a 2 out RBI single by Brady Stafford. 

In the 6th, Kyle Crawford entered the game in relief of Hodgins. Cooke again started the rally with a single, and would score on back to back singles from Burns and Jeff Macpherson tying the game at 2-2.  . 

Both pitchers make quick work in the 7th, and the game headed to extra innings.  Andy Triest would lead off the 8th with an infield single.  Following a strikeout, single and groundout, Aaron Stocking stepped to the plate and hit a 3 run home run to give the Indians the lead.  The Indians would add some insurance following a double by Brad Cooper and RBI single by Hodgins.  Crawford struck out the side in the bottom of the 8th, securing a 6-2 win for the Indians.

Nic Goetz took the loss for the Force with 8 innings pitched, allowing 9 hits, 6 runs, striking out 6.  Crawford earned the win in relief with 3 innings pitched, allowing 3 hits, 1 run, striking out 5

Game 3 will be played in Inwood Thursday night at 8:00.
