 Alvinston jumps to series lead in the  STDMFL finals with a 15 -0 win
Game 1 of the St Thomas District Men's Fastball League final saw a pitching matchup between Kyle Crawford for the Indians and Ryan Cummings for the Storm
Alvinston opened the scoring in the top of the first after Jamie shields reached on an error and back to back doubles by Jeff Lyons and Ryan Chapman.
St Thomas threatened to answer in the bottom half but Crawford stranded runners at 2nd and 3rd.
Alvinston broke the game open in the 2nd scoring 10 runs on 10 hits. Â
Crawford was effective the rest of the way finishing with a no hitter over 5 IP with 2 BB and 12 Ks.
Jeff Lyons finished 3/4 at the plate with a HR and 5 RBI.
Game 2 will be Thursday at 8 PM in Alvinston.
