PHE Canada & Softball Canada - Move, Think, Learn School Resource!

Softball Canada along with PHE Canada worked to create a resource with a Teaching Games for Understanding approach to work students through tactical gameplay problems, think through options and skills, and learn how to apply this learning to broader gameplay situations. The series explores numerous sports including softball. Targeted to educators working with children and youth approximately 8-12 years of age (grades 4-6), the goal of the series is to increase student knowledge, confidence, and competence to become further engaged in physical activity and/or sport.

We are happy to announce that since its launch in the fall of 2014 the softball component of the program has had over 1,100 registrations and has impacted over 585,000 children across Canada! If you know of a teacher looking for school resources with a focus on softball please direct them to this and our other softball resources!
