ASA/USA Softball National Office seeks applicants for RegisterASA Customer Support position

 

OKLAHOMA CITY --- The Amateur Softball Association (ASA)/USA Softball, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United States, is seeking applicants for the position of RegisterASA Customer Support. This individual’s primary responsibility includes receiving incoming telephone calls to provide assistance with membership questions relating to registration, certification and other items such as rosters, insurance and benefits. This is a full-time position at the National Office in Oklahoma City, Okla. with benefits.

 

Interested applicants should include a résumé and a cover letter explaining why they wish to fill the position. Applicants will be screened and a select number could be invited to interview in Oklahoma City. The selected candidate will be brought on board as soon as possible.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Effectively manage incoming calls by listening and responding to customers’ needs and concerns;
• Research answers or solutions as needed;
• Create and maintain help documents such as step-by-step guides, training manuals and PowerPoint presentations;
• Occasional travel and some weekends required;
• Other duties as assigned;

 

Skill and Knowledge Qualifications:

• Ability to speak and write clearly and accurately using the English language, demonstrating proficiency in typing and grammar;
• Knowledge of common Internet browsers and technologies;
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint;
• Proper phone etiquette;
• Effective listening skills and must demonstrate patience;
• Ability to adapt to different tasks throughout a normal business day;

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma, general education degree or equivalent;

The pay range for this position is $28,000 - $34,000.
