Alvinston, ON - Indians Win at Home


The Alvinston Indians hosted the Port Stanley Pirates on Thursday night in Alvinston. Port Stanley is one of the top teams in the league, and quickly jumped out to 5-1 lead in the game.  

 

However, a relentless Alvinston Indians attack kept producing, as they piled on 14 unanswered runs for a 15-5 win in five innings.  Cole Pavey collected the win for Alvinston, with 5 hits, with 4 walks, 6 strikeouts, with 5 runs in which 3 were earned.  

 

Scoring for the Indians were Brian Johnson (3), Andy Triest (3), Josh Weber (2), Davis Triest (2), Cole Pavey, Devin Triest, Kole Keating, Joe Triest, Mark McNally.  Driving in runs were Josh Weber (4), Joe Triest (2), Keating, McNally, Mitch Rops, and Davis Triest (2).

 

The Indians improved to 8-0 on the season, and play in Dutton tomorrow night at 8:00pm.
