Tavistock Minor Ball hosts the Cephas Roth tournament this weekend with
a great lineup of teams for fastpitch softball fans to enjoy.

Hill United Chiefs, NY Gremlins, Kitchener Hallman CanAm Twins, the
Kitchener Hallman Cubs, Kitchener Diamond Jaxx, Shakespeare Falcons,
Elmira Expos, Waterdown Hammer, Toronto Batmen....and the Czech
Republic U23 team are all in Tavistock this weekend for one of the big
highlights of the summer softball season.

The tournament opens Thursday evening with two games featuring 3 local
teams and the U23 squad from the Czech Republic. These games are at
Queen's Park, Shakespeare Falcons vs Kitchener Cubs at 7 pm and Elmira
Expos vs the Czech's at 9pm

Friday evening, ten teams and six games, including the Kitchener Diamond
Jaxx vs the Falcons, Hill United Chiefs vs the Toronto Batmen, The Czech
Republic vs NY Gremlins, and the Waterdown Hammer vs the Elmira Expos.
The Diamond Jaxx will complete a double header against the Kitchener
Hallman Cubs, while Waterdown will also double up with a second game vs
the Hallman CanAm Twins

Teams continue to play all day Saturday at the two Tavistock Diamonds as
well as the Shakespeare ball yard.

The first round of championship play is Saturday night at 830 and
continues with Sunday morning games at 9 and 11 and championships at 2 pm

The Tavistock minor softball teams will be serving great ball park food
from the food trailer and the pavilion will be have lots of cold beer.
And there is always more than softball for entertainment...there will be
live music in the beer tent.

Great teams, great ball yards, great food, super fans and cold
beer....lots of fun.
