Waterloo, ON - - Laurier Golden Hawks Hosts Ontario University Softball Championships
Ontario’s top eight university softball teams are headed to Kitchener-Waterloo this weekend for the Ontario Intercollegiate Women’s Fastpitch Association (OIWFA) Provincial Championships.
The Championship tournament will take place on the prestigious diamonds at Peter Hallman Ball Yard in Kitchener, Ontario. This is the second time the Laurier Golden Hawks have hosted the OIWFA Championship.
SportCanada.tv will be broadcasting round-robin games of the OIWFA Championships with play by play action from BallPark Broadcasting at http://sportscanada.tv/oiwfa/Â .
While the live streaming is free of charge for viewers, the OIWFA does encourage any viewers to make a donation to support offset the costs for the student-athlete.  Donations can be made via https://www.gofundme.com/OIWFA
