We are sending this information about the 2018 ISCs championships hosted in Kitchener at Peter Hallman Ball Yard.
August 11-18, 2018
Hotel information is attached from our host hotels.Â
As many of you know, this is the 5th time Kitchener has hosted this tournament. We hope your team is as excited about qualifying for this years championship as we are to be hosts.
For the USA teams who may not have been here in 2002, 06, 07 or 14 the Region of Waterloo is in south western Ontario, roughly located about half way between Detroit and Buffalo on Canada's busiest highway...the 401.

Fastball fans know that this is home to several ISC teams including the Kitchener Hallman Twins, Kitchener Hallman Cubs, Shakespeare Falcons, Elmira Expos, Kitchener Bell Cartage Outlaws, the Nith River Monsters. We are also home to the U23 New Hamburg Mustangs, U23 Woolwich Wildcats and the Waterloo Legends. Hill United Chiefs and Waterdown Hammer and Waterdown Legends are in neighboring municipalities. We have two leagues, The Kitchener Fastball League and the South Perth League in the Region.
The ISC Canada East Qualifier in the spring and ISC Ontario Challenge Cub in the fall are held in or near our area each year. Every summer there are Ontario Softball Youth, Senior and Masters tournaments in every town in the area.
Tavistock's Cephas Roth tournament is only 40 minutes from Peter Hallman Ball Yard.
Teams will get to compete in a great tournament and they will also contribute to a wonderful local foundation. Our charity partner "Strong Start to Reading" will benefit from proceeds of this tournament. More information on "Strong Start to Reading" is attached.
 Visitors enjoy the famous Kitchener and Waterloo Farmer's Markets among other attractions. We are close to Toronto, the Blue Jays and two hours from Niagara Falls.Â
Our economic base includes manufacturing, construction, service sector, hi-tech enterprises and education.
We are the home of the University of Waterloo, Wilfrid Laurier University, the McMaster University School of Pharmacy. Conestoga College has 4 campuses locally, Kitchener, Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph. Guelph is home to the Ontario Veterinary College, Ontario Agricultural College and the University of Guelph.
And for you USA teams....the US Dollar is strong...you get a 25% - 30% bigger bang for your buck.
