USA Softball announces invitees for Men’s National TeamSelection Camp

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK

OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. --- TheAmateur Softball Association, the National Governing Body of Softball in the United Statesand USA Softball announced today the list of invitees for the 2007 USA SoftballMen’s National Team selection camp. The camp will be held May 25-28 atthe Olympic Training Center in Chula Vista, Calif., and will be used to select the USA Men’sNational Team that will compete in the ISF World Cup, June 16-25 in Prague, Czech Republicand the American Challenge Series, July 11-16 in Oklahoma City.

TheAmerican Challenge Series was developed by the ASA to help promote and growmen’s fast pitch in the United States. The American Challenge Series willbe held in conjunction with the III World Cup of Softball and will feature fourof the top teams in the world including the USAand JapanFor the first time ever ESPN will televise one of the USA Men’s games onits network.
