Historic 2018 post-season lands Florida State atop final ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll

OKLAHOMA CITY — Coming off their first NCAA National Championship title, Florida State (58-12) ends the 2018 season atop the ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll. The Seminoles captured all 20 first-place votes, capping off a historic post-season in which the Seminoles became just the third team in NCAA history to lose their first game of the NCAA Women’s College World Series (WCWS) and win the title.

The ESPN.com/USA Softball Collegiate Top 25 Poll is voted on by coaching representatives of 11 Division I Conferences in the 10 USA Softball Regions as well as members of the National and Local media who consistently cover Division I Softball across the country.
