USA Softball teams up with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation and ShirtsAndLogos.com to fight childhood cancer

OKLAHOMA CITY – USA Softball is proud to announce a joint partnership with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation (NPCF) and ShirtsAndLogos.com in the fight against childhood cancer at this year’s USA Softball International Cup. Members of the 2018 USA Softball Women’s National Team (WNT) will wear specially designed uniforms designed and donated by ShirtsAndLogos.com, an official licensee of USA Softball.

“USA Softball is proud to partner with the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation and ShirtsAndLogos.com for this special cause,” said USA Softball Executive Director, Craig Cress. “We’re honored to help raise awareness and funds for research to eliminate childhood cancer.”

Both the Japan All-Star Series and World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) World Championship rosters are slated to wear NPCF-themed jerseys in their respective games on July 14 in a 9 a.m. PT game against Japan and a 1 p.m. PT contest against Chinese Taipei.

“The National Pediatric Cancer Foundation is proud to partner with USA Softball and ShirtsAndLogos.com,” said National Pediatric Cancer Foundation CEO, Dave Frazer. “We encourage Americans to support pediatric cancer patients by learning more and donating to the cause. We thank the USA Softball National Team athletes and organization for their efforts to help kids in need. It is our hope that all kids will grow up and have the chance to play softball and live a full and productive life. The funds raised from the sale of the special jerseys will directly support our research projects.”

Fans will have the opportunity to purchase blank or personalized replica NPCF jerseys through Shirtsandlogos.com/s-l-shop/usa-softball/ncpf.html<https://shirtsandlogos.com/s-l-shop/usa-softball/ncpf.html>. In addition, autographed, game-worn jerseys will be auctioned off through the NPCF starting June 20, 2018 through August 12, 2018. By visiting Nationalpcf.org/usa-softball-jersey-auction/<https://nationalpcf.org/usa-softball-jersey-auction/>, fans can bid on one-of-a-kind autographed jerseys while helping support an organization dedicated to increasing the survival rate of children battling cancer.

“ShirtsandLogos.com is honored to have the USA Softball National Team wear our jerseys while supporting the National Pediatric Cancer Foundation, a top ranked charity in the country,” said ShirtsAndLogos National Sales Director, Jason Strebig. “I know the softball community will lead the way in helping USA Softball and ShirtsandLogos raise funds for the NPCF. For one day, let’s have the fans of the Red, White and Blue show their support while wearing orange!”

USA Softball will go orange on all social media platforms on July 14 to create awareness and support the funding of research to eliminate childhood cancer. July 14 will also be “Fight Pediatric Cancer” day at the USA Softball International Cup, which will feature special promotional giveaways while fans are encouraged to wear orange to show their support of the NPCF and their mission.

“It has been a rewarding experience to work on this joint partnership with the NPCF and ShirtsAndLogos.com as this is a very worthy cause in supporting kids who are battling pediatric cancer,” said USA Softball Director of Operations, Steve Walker. “We encourage all USA Softball members to make a donation when they can and encourage teams and leagues who are looking for a charity to work with to look into what NPCF can offer your organization.”
