Softball Canada Names Twenty-One
New Level IV Umpires

Ottawa, Ont. - Softball Canada is pleased to announce that twenty-one umpires have been successful in achieving national Level IV umpire certification based on their performance at 2018 Canadian Championships.

Within the National Officials Certification Program, Level IV certification is the entry national level and demands an elite level of knowledge, understanding and ability. Each of these officials clearly demonstrated a high level of knowledge and competency. In order to attain Level IV certification, umpires must first attend a national clinic and then achieve a successful evaluation at a designated Canadian Championship.
