OKLAHOMA CITY – Fans of international softball can purchase their tickets for the USA Softball International Cup as USA Softball announced today that tickets are now on sale.  Held at South Commons Softball Complex in Columbus, Ga. July 1-7, the Red, White and Blue will return to the city where Team USA claimed Gold in their Olympic debut.
 
All-session VIP passes, which include a souvenir item, are $150 while General Admission passes are $90 for both adult and youth tickets.  Single-session tickets are also available for $25 and General Admission for $15.  Children five and under will receive free admission.

In addition to free online broadcasts of non-televised games through USASoftball.com, fans will also have the opportunity to catch Team USA in five televised games on the ESPN networks.
 
In what was formerly known as the World Cup of Softball, the 2018 USA Softball International Cup was hosted by USA Softball of Southern California at Bill Barber Park in Irvine, Calif.  At the event, USA Red took home Gold after routing Japan, 10-5, in the grand finale. It proved to be a Red, White and Blue affair as USA Blue, the second roster composed of Women’s National Team members, claimed the Bronze Medal.
 
Teams expected to compete at the USA Softball International Cup are: No. 2 Japan, No. 4 Puerto Rico, No. 5 Mexico, No. 6 Chinese Taipei, No. 8 China, No. 13 Philippines and No. 20 Peru in addition to Team USA’s Women’s National Team and U-19 Women’s National Team.  Additional teams could be added at a later date.
 
South Commons Softball Complex is an eight-field complex, which includes a five-field hub with a roundhouse and a three-field fan with stadium, indoor score booths, concessions, and restrooms.  
 
USA Softball of Georgia will also be hosting the Futures Cup, a youth fast pitch event, in conjunction with the 2019 USA Softball International Cup.  Held July 3-7, teams in the Girls’ 12-Under and 14-Under Fast Pitch Divisions are eligible to compete in the Futures Cup.  Teams competing in the Futures Cup will also receive 20 event passes, per team, to attend all USA Softball International Cup games.  Interested teams are able to register for the Futures Cup at TournamentUSASoftball.com.
