Nelson, NZ - - Passing of Ed Dolejs


Attention Softball Family:

Softball New Zealand regret to announce ED DOLEJS- a SNZ life member and NZ and WBSC Hall of Fame coach - died in Nelson on Tuesday, aged 90.

 

Softball New Zealand expresses its condolences to Ed's family and friends and acknowledges Ed's contribution as one of the influential figures in New Zealand softball history.

 

This tribute has been written by Tony Smith, who co-wrote Ed’s book and regards him as New Zealand softball’s foremost thinker.

Ed's funeral will be held at 2pm on Thursday November 14 at the Stoke Bowling Club in Songer St, Nelson.
