Team USA falls, 5-4, to Triple Crown Colorado in Day 2 of 2022 Canada Cup

SURREY, BC, Canada –– Despite outhitting Triple Crown (T.C.) Colorado in today’s Canada Cup matchup, the U.S. Women’s National Team (WNT) came up short after an intense seven innings of back-and-forth action resulted in a 5-4 loss. Sending her first ball out of the park in a Team USA uniform was Oklahoma’s Jocelyn Alo who led the U.S. offense with a 3-for-4 day at the plate followed by Washington’s Baylee Klingler who totaled two hits on the day.

The Eagles are back in action tomorrow, June 22 at 1:30 p.m. PT against Czech Republic and 9 p.m. PT against Chinese Taipei followed by the final game of pool play against Aussie Spirit on June 23 at 8:30 p.m. PT.
