This week is all about  fastpitch softball at the Peter Hallman Ball Yards 

 

Four teams from Ontario plus Newfoundland, Nova Scotia and Saskatchewan are in town and all ready to step into the batters box  or to toe the rubber for Canada's Under 23 National Men's Championship.

 

Team lineups, schedules etc are attached below  

 

Tuesday evening fans will enjoy a Tavistock u15  vs Wilmot Thunder youth game

 

Tuesday also features the Home Run Derby with 13 players competing.

 

ANGELS IN THE OUTFIELD

 

Tuesday includes the unveiling of two new members of what we here in Kitchener Softball call the Angels in the Outfield.

 

Jim Uhrig and Dave McLellan have had their names chiseled onto the granite rock at the Ball Yard entrance in honour of their long service to fastpitch softball.
