Softball Canada is hosting a Selection Camp for the 2000 Senior Men’s National Team

 

(Ottawa, ON) – Softball Canada’s Senior Men’s National Team will be hosting a Selection Camp in Kitchener, Ontario at the Peter Hallman Ball Yard from May 19^th – May 22^nd.  Seventeen members will be selected to the 2006 National Team to represent Canada at the VII Pan American Championships in Hermosillo, Mexico from September 29^th to October 9th.  Athletes invited to the Selection Camp from the Men’s National Team Pool are:

The VII Pan Am Championships are a qualifier for the XV Pan American Games in Rio De Janeiro Brazil from July 14^th to the 29^th 2007 and the XII ISF World Championships in 2009. 

 

The schedule of activities at the Selection Camp in Kitchener is the following:

 

May 19^th – inter squad game                                       7:00pm & 8:45pm

May 20^th – inter squad game                                       5:30pm, 7:00pm & 8:30pm

May 21^st – inter squad game                                      1:00pm, 2:30pm & 4:15pm

           

Softball Canada is the National Sport Governing Body for the development and regulation of softball in Canada.  Its broad objectives are to promote, encourage and develop mass participation and international excellence in softball.
