“Road to Beijing†exhibition series tour

Kitchener:
Civitan Sports and its International Fastball Organizing Committee
will host the Kitchener Pioneer Lions “Road to Beijing” Tri Nations Cup
at Peter Hallman Ball Yard in Kitchener on July 6th – 8th 2008 . This tournament will feature the National teams of Canada, Australia and Japan.
We are pleased to announce that we have been successful in finalizing a pre tournament “Road to Beijing” exhibition series tour the benefit of fastball enthusiasts at four locations in Ontario. This series will feature the 3rd and 7th world ranked teams from Australia and Venezuela as well as an Ontario all star team put together by the PWSA for this series.
The host communities for the exhibition series will be Brampton, Oakville, Milverton and the City of Guelph. Team Canada who are ranked # 5 will play Venezuela on Canada Day, July 1st in Brampton in their only appearance during the exhibition series.
