Croghan, NY – The New York Bombers were victorious in the Annual Lewis County 4th of July Tournament held in Croghan, NY. The Bombers went 4-0 in the 9 team event, surrendering only 1 run over 4 games.

Bomber centerfielder Tom Avery won tournament MVP honors of the event. The Bombers improve to 19-3 on the season and will be in action this weekend, their third weekend in a row for the Annual Mickey Brennan Memorial Tournament in Lackawanna, NY. The Bombers will take on last years tournament champion the Ashland Stockpack in Game #1. The Bombers and Ashland battled to a 7-6 game in last years championship game and due to the “luck of the draw” will be meeting each other in the first game of the event.
