The 2014 version of the Cephas Roth Memorial Tournament is ready for lift off. Tavistock is again excited and honored to host the Fastball World in what should prove again to be a World Class event.
Action begins on Thursday night at 7:00pm at the Queens Park with two exciting local match ups. Games pick back up again at both the Optimist Park and Queens Park on Friday at 5:00pm, 7:00pm and 9:00pm with the 2013 defending World and Cephas Roth Champion Hill United Chiefs capping the evening with a showdown against the Scarborough Force. Games continue at both parks all day Saturday and Sunday morning with the Finals slated for the Queens Park Sunday at 1:45pm.
With 10 World Class teams on hand and many of the World's premier players, we expect nothing but the best in fastball action the entire weekend.

While World Class Fastball is definitely the order of the day, this event offers much, much more. Katie Roth and 24 Karat will again rock the beverage tent on Friday Night. The Family of Cephas Roth will all be on hand for the Opening Ceremony Friday at 7:oopm and to throw out the opening pitch. The many volunteers of Tavistock Minor Ball will be around all weekend to serve your needs on the diamond, at the beverage area, on the grill, selling 50 / 50 tickets and to point you in the right direction should you have any questions. The Pee Wee All Star game will go on the Queens Diamond Saturday at 5:00pm. Always fun to watch the stars of tomorrow !
The Gate Fees for the weekend are $20 for a weekend pass with nightly and daily fees available as well. Camping fees are $30 for the weekend and do not include the weekend games pass.
This event is a fund raiser for Tavistock Minor Ball. ALL proceeds go back to our kids to assist in keeping them playing the game that we all love. Your patronage and support is greatly appreciated !!
