Milt Stark Passes - by Bob Otto

July 27, 2014

Taft, CA

Very sad news to report: Milt Stark, former ISC Executive Director, ISC Hall of Famer in fastpitch, and Hall of Famer in life passed away Thursday, July 24. He was 82. I received an email from his wife Diana. Milt got me started taking photos for the ISC World Tournament (1995-2000), and he edited my book and refused to take any fee or free books in exchange for his valuable service. (As an English teacher, he saved my hide by catching so many of my mistakes) He was a great leader, a great person, and a great family man. He will be missed. Milt will be buried in Taft, his hometown; services pending through Erickson & Brown Funeral Home in Taft. Check for impending obituary. http://www.ericksonandbrown.com/fh/home/home.cfm?fh_id=12088

The highlights of his life were in his beloved Taft. He remembers everything and everybody. He was inducted into the TUHS Hall of Fame in 2013.
