2014 ISC 50+ Legends Tournament Preview

The Legends are coming and I mean Legends !
This year’s ISC Legends division features many of the very best players who have ever played this great game.
The great Peter Finn of the Midland Explorer Legends makes his return after a long absence, does anyone remember the epic
34 inning marathon game he pitched against another great pitcher, Peter Meredith back in 1981 ?

Both Finn and Meredith pitched every inning in what is now referred to as “The Game.â€
They combined to strike out 106 batters, the game was won by Finn’s Valley Mechanical Contracting team by a score of 2-1
over Meredith’s Farm Tavern. Peter Meredith and his Ohio Battery team are the defending ISC Legends Champions, perhaps they will hook up in another classic pitcher’s duel !
The Toronto Gators make their first appearance at the ISC Legends Tournament, their roster features many players in the ISC,
Softball Canada and ISF Hall’s of Fame. Brian Paton, Adam Smith, Dave Hoffman, Terry Challis and the great Darren Zack will all be
in action in Kitchener.
Other players competing for various teams are Gary Franson, Brian Martie, Todd Budke, Brent Stevenson, Doug Sleep, Ed Gaspar,
Paul Clemens, Kurt Glover, Sam Forbes, Al Taylor, Chris Bigelow, Glenn Inglehart, Earl Wright etc.
This is the toughest field of teams ever to compete in the ISC Legends division.
