                       The 28th Annual World Senior Fastball Tournament gets underway Friday evening August the 22nd .At 7 pm it will be the official opening ceremonies .At the ceremony led by the Lockerby Legion Color Guard under the direction of Chris Peters , this year’s honorary chairperson Jim Kirkwood will be introduced .We will then hear a few words from him , this year’s chairperson Ike McDonald , Don Fournier and our deputy mayor Ron Dupuis . The opening game set for 7:15 pm will se the local pre tournament favorites Sudbury Relics take on the Toronto Bingos . One more game will be played on field 2 with a second on field 1 .There are games all day long on Saturday starting at 10:00 am on both fields with the last games starting at 5:30 pm ..Sunday its semi final action at 10 am on both fields followed by the “A†final at 12 noon and the “AA†final at 2:30 pm .You’ll be in for a treat ,Come out and see some excellent fielding ,catching ,hitting and pitching Food and refreshments all weekend long as well at a raffle ,50/50 and game MVP’s
