ASA/USA Softball seeks applicants for 2015-2018 Junior Men's National Team Coaching Pool

ASA/USA Softball seeks applicants for 2015-2018 Junior Men’s National Team Coaching Pool

 

OKLAHOMA CITY ---   The Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America and USA Softball, the National Governing Body for Softball in the United States, announced today it will begin accepting applications for the 2015-2018 Junior Men’s National Team Coaching Pool from fast pitch coaches now through November 1, 2014.

 

The USA Softball Men’s National Team Selection Committee will select the coaches’ pool plus name a Head Coach and Assistant Coaches from the new pool.   Coaches will work under the direction of the Head Coach and USA Softball Men’s National Team Director.

 

Pool coaches will be eligible for selection to be a member of the 2015-18 Junior Men's National Teams, which includes the 2016 and 2018 International Softball Federation (ISF) Junior Men's World Championship Team Coaching Staff. This staff will be selected by the Men’s National Team Selection Committee in accordance with ASA/USA Softball selection procedures. 

 

To be considered as a candidate for the pool, the Head Coach and/or Assistant Coach position please e-mail a letter of application and resume to arrive no later than November 1, 2014, including:

 

             - National coaching and/or playing experience

 

             - International coaching and/or playing experience

 

             - Reasons you would like to be a member of the Junior Men's National Team Coaching Pool
