New Hamburg to host Community Sport - On Going Participation Coaches Clinic

Softball Ontario and New Hamburg host Community Sport - On-Going Participation Clinic

TORONTO, ON- Softball Ontario is pleased to announce its partnership with New Hamburg Minor Softball in hosting a National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) clinic for Softball Coaches ~ Community Softball Coach (officially called Community Sport-On-Going Participation).  The scheduled dates and location are as follows:

Location: Baden Public School
155 Livingston Blvd, Baden ON, N3A 4M6
 
Dates: Saturday, April 11 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and;
Saturday, April 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) is a coach training and certification program for 66 different sports and is offered both official languages across Canada.  NCCP workshops are designed to meet the needs of all types of coaches from the first time-coach to the head coach of the national team.  The NCCP is recognized as the national standard for coach training and certification in Canada.  As part of the program, all coaches are trained in ethical decisions-making and sport safety.  Softball Ontario is the provider of the NCCP Program for the sport of Softball in the province of Ontario.

Softball Ontario and New Hamburg Minor Softball have partnered as both Associations are committed to providing opportunities for Softball Coaches to advance their skills and knowledge at all levels.  The Community Sport stream is geared for local Softball Associations and House League to provide Coach Education that is best suited for its athletes.

Community Sport - On-Going Participation Clinic - 16 hours
Coaches encourage participants of all ages to continue in the Sport for fun, fitness, skill development and social interaction. This training allows coaches to help their players to love softball, learn more skills and continue participation.

Registration will cost $120 and please contact and submit payment to:
