General admission and regular stadium seating tickets now available for World Cup of Softball X in Irvine, Calif.

 

OKLAHOMA CITY — General admission tickets, as well as regular stadium seating tickets, are now available for the 2015 World Cup of Softball X, which will be held June 29 - July 5 in Irvine, Calif. the Amateur Softball Association (ASA) of America and USA Softball announced today.  Slated to be played at Bill Barber Park (Deanna Manning Stadium), the World Cup, a World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) - Softball Division sanctioned event, will include some of the top teams in the world including the USA Softball Women's National Team, Japan, Canada, Puerto Rico, Mexico, Argentina and the USA Softball Junior Women's National Team.

Tickets are available for both premium stadium seating and general admission and start at $10 a ticket.  Tickets for the event are for an entire day with fans having the opportunity to watch all games played on their selected dates.  The complete World Cup of Softball game schedule, including special promotions and autograph sessions will be announced at a later date. The World Cup of Softball X marks the first international event of the 2015 season for both the Women's National Team (WNT) and Junior Women's National Team (JWNT).  For the WNT, the World Cup is one of three international events in 2015.  Following the World Cup of Softball, Team USA will travel internationally to compete in the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto, Ontario, Canada July 15-26 and will then head to Japan August 2-10.  For the JWNT, the World Cup will give the team their first international competition before taking on the world at the WBSC Junior Women's World Championship (JWWC), August 9-15 in Oklahoma City, Okla. at the ASA Hall of Fame Complex.

 

General admission tickets for the WBSC JWWC are also on sale at SoftballOutlet.com.  Fans also have the opportunity to purchase Gold Pass tickets, which include all-session tickets in the reserved Gold Pass section (click here to view seating chart) for the week-long event, a t-shirt and program.  A Gold Pass will also provide fans with the opportunity to have a personalized name slide on the video board at OG&E Energy Field at the ASA Hall of Fame Stadium, with additional photo opportunities.
