Sylvia Sparky Ryan, Lindsay Ontario ( Manager )
Sparky or as I like to call her “The First Lady of Fastball” is well known throughout North America.
You will usually see Sparky at tournaments keeping score but she is definitely much more then just a score keeper.
What you don’t see is the incredible amount of time and work she puts in behind the scenes as Manager for her various teams.
Sparky does it all and teams are very lucky to have her on board.
Sparky has participated in, 1 ASA 50+ National Championship, 2 Canadian Masters Championships, 5 ISC Legends Championships, 5 OASA Masters Championships, 2 North Bay Tournaments and 1 NAFA Masters World Series.
Top 3 finishes include, 5 at the ISC Legends Tournaments, 2 Canadian Masters, 5 OASA Masters, 1 North Bay.
Sparky has won 3 ISC Legends World Championships, 2 Canadian Masters Championships, 2 Ontario Masters Championships.
Sparky is the Manager for the Cobourg Force Legends.

Dana Seiling, Paris Ontario ( Manager )
Dana is the only member of the Waterloo Classics to play in ever OASA Masters Championship since 1997 and the Classics are the only team to compete every year since 1997.
In 2008, the OASA Masters Championship was dangerously close to becoming extinct. Due to a small number of teams entered for that year’s tournament in Niagara Falls, the OASA was on the verge of announcing cancellation of the provincial championship. Feeling that cancellation would likely see the permanent demise of the masters championship, Dana led an appeal, along with tournament organizer Rob Greatrix, to seek more entries from masters teams, and to petition OASA to continue the tournament for at least that year. Enough support was rallied to run the tourney and it continues to this day, having grown substantially during the past few years. Dana has participated in 18 OASA Masters Championships, 3 ISC Legends Championships, 5 May Two-Four Blast Masters Tournaments, 1 Eastern Canadian masters, 1 North Bay Tournament and 3 Canadian Masters Championships. Dana has the following top 3 finishes, 7 OASA Masters, 3 ISC Legends, 2 Canadian Masters, 5 May 2-4 Blast Masters.
Dana has won 2 ISC Legends Championships, 1 Ontario Masters Championship and 5 May Two-Four Blast Masters Championships.
Dana will be on the coaching staff for the Waterloo Legends this year.

Rod Fevreau, Cambridge Ontario ( Player )
Roddy is a crafty right handed pitcher who keeps hitters off balance with some nasty off speed pitches, many hitters bail/flinch at his pitches and give up on the pitch only to see the pitch drop in for a called strike.
Roddy has participated in several OASA Masters Championships, 5 ISC Legends Tournaments, 1 North Bay Tournament, 1 ASA 50+ National Championship
Roddy has 9 top 3 finishes in various masters tournaments including OASA, Canadian Masters, ISC Legends and Eastern Canadians.
Roddy has won 3 OASA Masters Championships, 1 Eastern Canadian Masters Championship
Roddy has pitched for the Stoney Creek Scrappers, Cobourg Force, Stoney Creek Gators  and a few US based teams
Roody helped his Waterdown Hammer team win the 2014 OASA Masters Championship and was named MV Player and also won the Jack Cook Award.
Roddy will once again suit up with the Waterdown Hammer.

These 6 people will be inducted into the Ontario Masters Fastball Hall of Fame during the OASA Masters Championship July 17-19
in St. Clements Ontario. We will have a short informal ceremony on Saturday July 18th between games, more details will be announced at a later date. All inductees will receive an individually personalized custom made Hall of Fame ring from Baron Championship Rings.

I think this induction ceremony will be different then most Hall of Fame ceremonies. Instead of sitting at a table in a stuffy suit 5 years after you retired why not be recognized while you are still actively playing in front of your teammates, friends, family, umpires and fans right in the middle of a tournament while you are in your uniform. We are going to have a serious professional induction ceremony but I’m sure we will also have a ton of laughs along the way.

The Ontario Masters Fastball Hall of Fame would not exist without the generous financial support from our sponsors, Fred Butt, Sammy Forbes, Pete Chambers and Bill Fairney.
Special thanks to the Ontario Masters Fastball Hall of Fame selection Committee for their professionalism and unbiased voting, each person on the Selection Committee was selected because of their integrity and reputations. I would also like to thank Mike Goodridge and the OASA as well as the Host Committee and specifically Sammy Forbes for allowing us the time and platform to hold our induction ceremony during the OASA Championship. Special thanks to Dennis Dosman for his contribution to the induction ceremony posters.
