I earlier
reported on Waverick getting beaned
by a throw from right field, hit him in the helmut and he went down, but it was Troy Parker. It was
an amazing throw from rf to
the plate that hit the runner in the head, but the run scored.
Another amazing
play at the plate was when Kyle Beane was at the
plate, bases loaded and passed ball and Schweyer
charged the plate, did a summersault in the flying
dust and the runner was out.
This game
had a bit of everything including a record breaking number of hard hit foul
tips into the Midland dougout, clearning
the bench for the rest of the game.
Long game
but not as long as the one on diamond 2, it went almost 3 hours.
