NOTE: there was no game sheet for the game between Kitchener Cubs and Midland Explorers. The game ended early when a Cub batter was hit by a pitch from the Midland pitcher. The umpires in discussion with the managers of the two teams decided to call the game. Cubs were ahead at the time. The Midland pitcher called out to "watch out" when he lost control of the pitch. No harm was intended. That is all I was given on the incident.  AD

10:30pm Sat night and the final game is just getting started. I have a big decision to make and I made it. I abandoned the last game to come back to the hotel to type up the 4 game summary sheets just turned over to me. As the final game tonight will not impact the final standings as far as playoffs go, I will wait until Sunday to record that final score, unless somone emails or tweets it to me.

Hill United got the winning run in b8, won the game then the rain came down.

I do not have the game summary sheet yet, its at the ball park. I came back to the hotel to update the status of the last two games.

I will get the game summary sheet when I go back to the park for the championship game. I am tuned to www.ballparkradio.com in hopes of hearing when the final game starts.

CHAMPIONSHIP GAME RAINED OUT!

I am told the game sheet will be delivered to me later today so I will type it up then! And it arrived at 2:15pm via Ballparkradio

Juan Potolicchio  started for NY Gremlins and put on a super pitching show for his young compatriots from the Argentina Junior team who were out in force to watch him pitch and cheer him on.

Andrew Kirkpatrick came on in relief around 6th inning. Mike Joseph started for Hill United and Mitch Hardy came on later in relief.

A great game to watch although the armchair umpires on the fence will have some comments on the officiating for some time to come.
