Nice talking to some of the Team Canada guys after their game to hear they were following our coverage of the USA vs NZ game last night at the hotel with their blackberrys.

Kirkpatrick, singles - they bobbled the ball and he may have made it to 2b but not worth the risk
they tried to tag him even though he never made the turn to second, now the coach is trying to make an arguement that he was tagged out. not going to happen
Davison singled but makes it to second, and Kirkpatrick is on third

14, Jones, beautiful bunt, Kirkpatrick scores and Jones on first
Harrow, in the park home run. hit it to rf fence, bounced off, fielder chased it, threw home and Harrow slid by the catcher.
AU are leading 6-0
Zenon Winters, right over the 250' marker, solo home run to make it 7-0

Goolagong, strikes out, but a big inning for the Steelers

27, Goolagong, - pitcher is really struggling to keep ball in strike zone, walks in another run.  they really need help
26, Nick Norton, bases loaded, most of the pitches are arond the ankles, blooper to first, picked off by 2nd baseman, out, but runner scores and two runners move up
Kirkpatrick, runners on 2 and 3 with  2 out. throwing at Andrews ankles may lead to a golf shot, goes down swinging to end the inning.
