Bomber's Win 4th Annual Molly Sherman Tournament

The New York Bombers, powered by great pitching from hurlers Justin Heyman and Shawn Samson and the hitting of Tournament MVP Tom Avery (Pictured at left) won the 2010 4th Annual Molly Sherman Memorial Tournament on Memorial Day weekend.
The Bombers (4-0) outscored opponents 28-2 over 4 games, winning their last game against tournament title runner up Ricola by the score of 10-0. Ricola had a very impressive run on the final day of the tournament recording 4 straight victories to get to the championship game.
Avery, the tournament MVP, batted .750 (8-12) with 3 homeruns and 5 RBI's. 25 games were played at the ballpark over two days with a great atmosphere around the ballpark throughout. A complete recap of game will be available soon and will be posted so stay tuned.
