The Carl Hansen was a good tournament.  We did not get as many teams as desired, mostly due to teams finances.  It really turned out to be a battle of "B" teams in the end, with Wasatch Properties, Innovative Communications, and SAU.  SAU being the "C" national champions of 2009 west division won the tournament.  They look real good this year having Cody Thompson and Garrett Hone as there horses on the mound.  Look for SAU to be strong at "B" nationals in Salem.  Cody Thompson will not be throwing however, he's on the banned list.  

Other notables pitching were Peter Meredith and Steve Black.  Peter at 50 is no slouch and can still blow it by some of the best.  It's amazing to watch him throw.  Steve Black is crafty and has been around for years playing with Innovative.

Page 23 and under took third place and are fun to watch.  They are well coached by Steve Black of Innovative Communications and they should be ready for the 23 and under nationals.

Pueblo was not in this tournament.  Teams were local this year, but years past we've seen the likes of Texas, Minnesota, Idaho, California, and Colorado represented.  We hope to regain good attendance next year..
