Carl Hansen Tornament in Salt Lake City Utah

The tournament is the
Carl Hansen and it is the weekend of July 9th and 10th. I am sure you know of the old Pioneer Days tournament which is what we are trying to bring back as the Carl Hansen. The past few years it has been a great tourney and looks like this year is going to be even better.
Here are some the players and teams we get.
Peter Meredith – Pitching for his new team the All- Stars
Schatz, Anderson and Associates - (Formerly S.A.U.) – 2010 Class B National champs and 2009 Class C National champs. Also last year’s winner.

Also looking to come are teams from New Mexico, The Texas Manor Dirt bags, The Boise River Dogs, plus 3 or 4 more Utah teams and a couple teams from back east.
The competition has been very good the last few years and should be even better this year for all levels.
Also the winning team gets Turf Shoes for each player, along with shirts and of course the trophy. Last year second place received underarmor shorts, shirts and the trophy, plus there was an MVP who walked away with a new bat, and a defensive MVP with a bag. Plus they did an MVP for each game in the elimination round and the prizes consisted of Batting gloves, bags, shirts, pullovers and much more.
