A Resounding Success and a Thank You from Hill United Chiefs
The Chiefs and their 2015 ISC World final opponent Toronto Gators have both
committed to participate in St. John's as has Kanata Storm, also from
Ontario. There will also be at least one team comprised of players from the
St. John's Men's League joining the fray. The event will be held at Lions
Park in the heart of St. John's.
The province of Newfoundland and Labrador has developed some of the greatest
players in the game today and the Chiefs, Gators and Storm are blessed with
some of the best. The Hill United family is proud to be bringing their team
to Canada's east coast to say thanks for allowing the players to travel into
Ontario and the many communities in the USA who host tournament events each
summer.
There are many events being planned during this Canada Day weekend
celebration not the least of which will be numerous outdoor concerts on
famous George Street. You can plan on great food, great east coast music and
great craic to go along with exciting world class fastball competition. For
anyone who has never travelled to St. John's before be assured you won't be
disappointed.
There is still room for teams to join in the competition and a list of
accommodation opportunities will be announced in the near future.
Entry fee is $375.00 and there will be a minimum of 4 games per team.
