Highlight of the championship game
Steve Morgan had a great performance, while keeping Los Apaches off balance. Utah came right out of the shoot with 2 error help from the Apaches scoring 3 runs. With 2/3 of the inning remain Mike Good was pulled for Sunny Perkins. Good had a great tournament prior to the championship game only allowing 1 run in 3 games. Steve Morgan had nearly a perfect weekend only allowing a single run through out the tournament; you can say he was on fire. Perkins as well had a great weekend. Perkins ended up with 2 wins and a 2 Saves for the weekend, Even though a great performance by both teams Utah was not going to be denied. With there bats on fire Utah pushed three more runs across in the 6th inning. The Apaches had there chances in 3rd, 5th and 6th inning to put runs on the board but came short.
Winning Pitcher Steve Morgan
Losing Pitcher Mike Good
No Decision Sunny Perkins
Final Score 6-1
Correction Hurricanes Record was 3-1 not 3-2
