2016 ASA Men’s Major Fast Pitch National Championship begins this Thursday
Kimberly, Wis. – The 2016 Amateur Softball Association (ASA) Men’s Major Fast Pitch Softball National Championship will begin this Thursday, August 4 at Kimberly’s historic Sunset Park. A total of 19 teams from across the country will compete for the national championship. Admission to all of the weekend’s events are free.
The tournament field features some of the top teams in the world and begins on Thursday, August 4 at 4:00pm. The tournament will continue throughout the weekend on the park’s Upper, Lower, and Youth Softball Diamonds with the championship game slated for Sunday afternoon, August 7 at 1:00pm.

Please note to follow detour signs for Sunset Park in the Village of Kimberly as a large portion of Kimberly Ave. is closed due to construction.
The Kimberly Recreation Association (KRA) will be the host organization for the tournament. The KRA has hosted many prestigious men’s tournaments at the famed Sunset Park, but this will be the first ASA Men’s Major Championship to be played in Kimberly. ASA/USA Softball is the National Governing Body for the sport of softball in the United States and is headquartered in Oklahoma City.
