SOFTBALL COACH
 Effective March 30TH, 2017 to May 27th, 2017  TFS is accepting applications for the positions of SOFTBALL Head Coach and Assistant Coach. Successful candidate will be expected to manage the responsibilities listed below:  • Practice for the U12 team will be Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30 to 5:15pm • All aspects of practice preparation and competition coaching • Plans and schedules a regular program of in-season practice • Responsible for the general care and protection of equipment • Responsible for managing eligibility forms and Athletic Eligibility Policies and Procedures • Cooperates with the trainer/nurse and Athletics Director to ensure that athletes receive quality care, prevention and treatment of    injuries • Attend all TFS Athletic Department coaches’ meetings and represent TFS at all CISAA, CAIS and OFSAA coaches’ meetings • Works with the Athletics Director to promote the development of sports on campus • Works as a team player within the department and shares the vision for the future of the department as outlined by the athletics strategic plan • Monitors student-athlete’s academic progress • Enforces disciplined and sportsperson like behavior at all times. • Exercises good judgment with positive coaching behavior. Leads by example in promoting a respectable image for the program • Encourages good sportsmanship and fosters a positive athlete/coach relationships • Assist our athletes to progress with good program/club and university athletics scholarship • Insure good communication with Athletics Director, students, parents and staff • Manage the program according to all CISAA, OFSAA, CAIS and school rules and regulations.   Compensation: Progressive compensation according to the coaches’ salary grid.  Qualifications: Previous coaching experience is required; coaching certification will be preferred. A significant and successful record as a coach and player in the sport is ideal. The successful candidate should possess strong leadership, excellent problem solving and communication skills along with the ability to inspire student-athletes. The candidate must be committed to the mission of the school and to French/English bilingualism.  Â
