Mike Spagnuolo, Chris Dipzinski, and I ran the Pete Schwab Memorial tournament, along with other Up to Date Painting team members from 2002-2013. Pete Schwab was a member of Chris and Spag's Frankenmuth Brewery team before his sudden passing in 1996.  From 2013, the tournament was sponsored by Schaefer & Bierlein (www.frankenmuthcars.net) and ran by the Wrangler's Softball team.  Spag helped the Wranglers get started as a player/coach and continued to help run this tournament until his passing in 2016. Spag was the MVP pitcher for the 1st ISC II World Championship in 2002. We are proud to carry on the tournament in his name.
Â
Result from last year's tournament are included in the attached file.
Mickey's Sleds (Midland, MI) defeated the Snappers (Eaton Rapids, MI) by a score of 7-3 to earn the A division title.Â
Â
We look forward to seeing everyone in Frankenmuth this July!
