Roster announced for U-17 Women’s National Team set to compete at 2019 U-17 Women’s Pan American Softball Championship

OKLAHOMA CITY — USA Softball is proud to field a USA Softball U-17 Women’s National Team (WNT) that will compete at the U-17 Women’s Pan American Softball Championship, slated to be held October 11-19 in Barranquilla, Colombia.  The 15-player roster will look to qualify for the 2020 World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) U-18 Women’s Softball World Cup (WSWC) and will be led by Head Coach Kyla Holas (Pasadena, Texas) and Assistant Coaches Becky Snow (Albany, N.Y.) and Ernie Yarbrough (Owasso, Okla.).

“I am thrilled to assist these talented athletes in representing USA in Colombia,” said Holas. “Competing internationally and representing your country is what every athlete and coach aspires to. Athletes selected to the team are part of the USA Softball athlete pool, having attended previous softball camps and clinics, interscholastic softball competitions and events, club or league softball events, submitted video, and/or attended events coordinated by USA Softball.
 
The schedule for the U-17 Women’s Pan American Softball Championship will be announced at a later date.
