Huntsville Sportsmen's Fastball League is hosting a 24 (twenty-four) Team Tournament

on:Â Â Â Â Â July 10,11 & 12, 2020

Â
First 24 teams paid will be accepted teams, and will be guaranteed a minimum of 3 games.
Â
                      Players must play in at least 1 of first 3 games to play on Sunday
Â
Entry fee is $450.00 includes game balls
Â
Cheques are to be made payable to the: Huntsville Fastball League

           The Prize Structure will be as follows:

THE TOURNAMENT COMMITTEE will not be responsible for INJURIES sustained by any player. All participants do so at their own risk.

TOURNAMENT RULES

OASA-CASA RULES (Except)

Â
               Team Roster to be handed in before first game
                      Â
               Teams may bat every player
Â
               Final Games will be 7 innings in length
Â
               No new innings after 1 hour and 20 minutes except in FINAL DIVISION GAMES.
Â
               Games will start immediately after previous game when umpires are ready
Â
               No infields
Â
               2 out catcher rule at any base
Â
               Ties will end in a tie, except in playoff round
Â
               No jewelry except medical alert bracelets
Â
               Base runners may leave base when pitcher has released the ball
Â
               Mercy Rule 7 runs anytime after 5 or 10 runs after 3 except in final division games.
Â
               In case of rain, games will go 5 innings (until end of day or time is made up)
Â
               No protests will be allowed. The decisions of the umpires shall be final.
Â
               A coin toss will decide the Home Team.(Home team will be responsible for official score keeping) In Playoffs; Home Team is team higher in standings.
Â
               No Pitchers from Senior Ball or ISC Pitchers, or current paid ISC “2" Pitchers or any pitcher deemed by the tournament committee to be of a higher caliber than we wish to have participate in this tournament..
Â
               No team will play in tournament unless entry fee is paid.
Â
               Any player or coach ejected will have to pay a $20.00 FINE before allowed to play the next game. A more serious offence as determined by umpires and tournament committee or a second offense is permanent EJECTION.
Â
               STEEL CLEATS allowed.
Â
               DOUBLE BAG rule will be in effect.
Â
               BATTING helmets are mandatory.

               Full line or re-entry rule as per OASA Rule.
               Players must play for one team only
               Please Obey all NO PARKING SIGNS.

Teams found drinking in the PARKING AREAS or OUTSIDE THE LICENSED AREA will automatically be ejected from the tournament, and teams found drinking in these areas after they are eliminated will be suspended from this tournament for the next season. Â
