Team Canada Getting Set for 2025 WBSC U18 Men’s Pan American Championship
Bahia Blanca, Argentina – The Canadian U18 Men’s National Softball Team has arrived in Argentina and is going through its final preparations ahead of the U18 Men’s Pan American Championship that is slated to begin this Sunday, October 5th at Parque de Mayo in Bahia Blanca.
The tournament will feature six teams vying for a spot in the 2027 WBSC U18 Men’s Softball World Cup in Czechia, including No. 3 Argentina, No. 4 Canada, No. 9 Mexico, No. 12 Guatemala, No. 34 Peru and No. 2 Venezuela.
Team Canada will open its tournament against Argentina at 8:00pm AST (7:00pm EDT) on Monday, October 6th. The six teams will play a full round robin, with the top two finishers playing for gold, the next two for bronze and the final two for fifth place, all on the final day Saturday October 11th.
The Canadian team is led by head coach Bryan Brooks (Selby, Ont.), who will be joined by assistant coaches Jean-Yves Doucet (St-Leonard-d’Aston, Que.) and Don Scott (Sebringville, Ont.).
