Once again over the weekend and today, Monday, we made a decision not to send out our newsletter to over a thousand people for each of the many reports we have received Friday to Monday.
Reason is simple, and good news: there was too much news!
This is becoming a habit and we love it. Many fans have told us they love it too. They can get the news at either our main news site: NEWS-1 http://www.alsfastball.com/ or at our back up site: NEWS-2 http://fastpitchwest.com/alsfastball
Also, more and more people have signed up for RSS and get each news update by an automatic news feed, see http://www.alsfastball.com/index.php?page=124
Over the weekend it was heartwarming to see so many of "our roving reporters"sending in regular updates from their tournaments. Only a few tournaments failed to report in and we know who they are. We know they will try harder next year.
Just a sample of reports that came in on a regular basis over the weekend and the star reporters who did the work to make it happen:
Blair Setford, ISC VP and ISC II Commissioner reporting on ISC II Regional Qualifier from Innerkip, Ontario not only did Blair send us updates each day with a recap of all the games, but during the day he sent updates game by game via his blackberry so the fans could follow the action from Innerkip all weekend.
